Cementerio de Animales, llega a los cines el próximo 4 de abril, pero como es costumbre, algunos integrantes de prensa han podido ver la película y dejaron sus reacciones en las redes sociales. En resumen lo que dice la mayoría es que vale la pena, la película mantiene el toque original del libro y algunas cosas similares a la anterior adaptación, aunque hay algunos que no quedaron del todo convencidos, a continuación les compartimos algunas reacciones:

Pet Sematary nos deja una sólida sensación de terror desde el principio hasta el final. Se ha ganado sus buenos “jump-scares”, y el increíble diseño de sonido y los efectos tan conseguidos añaden una capa extra de creepy. Creo que a los fans de King les encantará. Supéralo Goose, es el turno de Church.

Pet Sematary es *perverso* y me ENCANTA. Unos efectos visuales muy brutales y muy emocionada de ver cómo Widmyer y Kölsch han cogido todos los temas de la mortalidad que se encuentran en el libro. Y MADRE MÍA con Jeté Laurence. De verdad que han arriesgado con esta adaptación y funciona para mí, buen rato he pasado.

Me ha convencido Pet Sematary. Acojona, tiene toneladas de diversión, no se corta con el gore, y de alguna forma es incluso más oscura que el libro. Muy impresionada y satisfecha.

Así que la nueva película de Pet Sematary está GENIAL. Una adaptación que merece la pena de uno de los libros más oscuros y difíciles de King. Cambia algunas cosas, muchas funcionan, pero hay otras que he echado de menos. Aún así, algunos GRANDES momentos realmente dan en el clavo (incluyendo una que me temía que no incluyesen… ¡PERO LO HAN HECHO!).

Esta adaptación de la novela de Stephen King es un innegable rato de diversión y terror con palomitas. Dicho eso, con el nivel de producción de 2019, un guion engañoso y un par de elegantes giros, da en el clavo de una forma sorprendentemente similar a la primera película.

Pet Sematary tiene las pelotas suficientes que debe tener una adaptación de este tipo. Los temas y el terror de la novela de King se sienten muy vivos aquí, pero también hay los suficientes e inteligentes cambios para que los fans se encuentren con alguna sorpresa.

Pet Sematary es muy normalita. Buenas actuaciones, diseño de sonido y producción. Pero nunca llega a asustar, nunca hay tensión. Una vez que el VERDADERO terror comienza, casi ya ha acabado la película. No sé qué es lo que esperaba, pero me ha dejado con ganas de más.
